Whether you’d like a “quick” 2-hour consultation to jump start your own design progress or a full-service room design, all of our services are based on an hourly fee. If you don’t see something that fits your needs below, let’s talk!


It's your two hours to spend how you like!  We'll get a lot done. We can select paint colors, move furniture around or even hang some artwork. My time is yours. We'll talk about how you want your home to feel and ways you can achieve your vision, from new lighting and accessories to furniture and art. And if you don't have a vision, we'll get one brewing. This service is for you if you're looking for a new color palette, maybe some window treatment or flooring ideas, or simply some quick professional design advice to set you in the right direction. Perfect if you're on the hunt for furniture, artwork or rugs - I'll give you size parameters and color suggestions so you know what to hunt!  For a more in-depth service that includes a detailed list of suggested items to purchase, check out our Room Design service.

Cost: $300 for 2 hours on-site. This includes a follow-up summary of our time together and the suggestions made.

This is your two-hour consultation with some serious bells and whistles. Whether you want (or need) to start from scratch or you want to make changes over time, I'll create a specific plan to help you get there. We'll look at photos of rooms together, talk about what works for you and what doesn't, and help you figure out what you really want. I'll measure your space, take photos, talk budget, and float some ideas to make sure we're on the same page. Then back at the office I'll create mock-ups, top-down layouts and 2D renderings of furnishings to help you visualize. My followup summary will include a detailed list of specific suggestions with links and current pricing and all of the pertinent info about how and where to purchase. This service is for you if you've heard yourself say "I'm overwhelmed" or "I know what I like, but I have no idea how to make it happen" or "I wish someone would just tell me what to buy!"

Cost: Per room. The below prices assume we're starting with an empty space. (If it's not an empty space, let's talk - I work with your budget!)

I'll help you choose the right materials to create the gorgeous kitchen or bath you've been picturing in your mind. I'll meet with you in your home to check out the scope of the project and discuss the overall game plan, then take a field trip to actually choose materials. (If you want design ideas without a road trip, see the 2-hour design consultation above).

I love to help you make decisions! You'll be able to check off all those items on your list: plumbing hardware, cabinet knobs and pulls, lighting, flooring, tile, mosaic, grout color, countertop material, sink style, paint color. I'll sketch up how the tile should be laid to show the tile installer. For kitchens, we'll choose the best cabinet style/color for your space and I'm happy to work with your cabinet maker/kitchen designer on the best drawer and cabinet configurations (and what you might put inside). For bathrooms, I'll help you choose your vanity and glass enclosure or shower curtain. We'll find mirrors, light fixtures, towel bars, toilet paper holders - every detail down to the soap dish.

This is the service for you if you're facing a renovation or working on new construction and your contractor is starting to ask questions and you feel pressured to provide answers but you don't have time and time is running out and you don't want to make a hasty decision. So you've bought all of your furniture, lighting, area rugs, and artwork but need some help implementing the plan. Or maybe you just want to shake things up - you don't have anything new, but want a new look. This is where the hourly rate makes the most sense. I'm swift and efficient but thoughtful - I won't put extra holes in your walls when hanging or re-positioning your artwork. I've got furniture mover tools to keep from scratching your floors. And I won't touch anything you say is off-limits.

I love the gratification that comes from working with all of the elements in your space, arranging the room and creating a beautiful living space. It's the heart of what I do. My goal is to hear you say "wow" at the end of our visit!

Cost: $200/first hour and $100/hr thereafter for a redesign. If we've already had a consultation together, it's $100/hr. Depending on the scope, pulling it all together typically takes 2-4 hours per room. I'll tell you up front how long I think it will take.



You're moving but aren't sure what to move or where to put it when it's moved. I visit with you in your current home (if you're far away, I either travel or rely on photos and measurements), then visit your new space and create a game plan. I provide 2D layouts so you know where to point the movers when they're holding your couch and ask you where it goes. Or I can be there on move-day to do the pointing and help "pull it all together" (see above).

Cost: per project (let's talk - I work with your budget!)



Congratulations! You're building, renovating or buying something new to you. Starting from scratch is a fun and sometimes scary process, and suddenly you're faced with more questions than you'd ever dream of having to answer (for the record, we think that choosing the finish on your door hinges shouldn't keep you up at night). We meet, learn about how you plan to use the spaces in your new home, then put together a plan. If you’re having work done, I work with your contractor to make sure the materials and finishes we choose fit in the budget. I’ll help you choose paint and stain colors and whatever else you need - flooring, plumbing hardware, light fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, tile, sinks, the list goes on. Then we choose the right furnishings, artwork and accessories to create your brand new home.

Cost: per project (design fee starts at $12,000).



Many of my clients like to do the ordering, purchasing and meeting of deliveries. But who has the time? I'm happy to take care of these logistics. I'll work with you to determine a fair price for this service, based on the scope of the project and your needs.
