Back in the summer of 2007, my husband and I put our condo up for sale. Everyone was selling and competition was fierce. The economy was bulging at the seams and our condo sat for 80 long days on the market. We were getting nervous.
It was my mother who first told me about staging and redesign. I took a course and immediately applied the concepts I had learned, redesigning my own place. Ten days later, we sold at asking price.
I get a thrill out of making even tiny adjustments that can take a space from just okay to gorgeous. After that sale, I was hooked. Family members let me practice on their homes. I studied at the Midwest Staging & Redesign Institute, worked with a mentor and learned on-the-job. Before long, Eye to Eye Interiors, LLC was born.
I am a member of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) and am President of the Greater Chicago Chapter. I am also a member of the Association of Design Education, the Style Exchange at Project Decor, and Benjamin Moore's Professional Design Advisory Board. As a trained actress (AEA, SAG/AFTRA) I'm comfortable with the camera and a crowd - feel free to contact me for speaking engagements.

Virtual Decorating Plan
You're nowhere near our service area? All we need are photos and measurements and we'll create a customized decorating plan that includes a beautiful rendering to suit your style, taste and living space. Our layout instructions will help you put it together - we can't wait to see the results!
What will this cost and how much time does it take? Our fees are based on an hourly rate of $200/hr the first hour and $100/hr every hour thereafter. A paint color consultation typically takes between 90 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the number of spaces to be painted. Hands-on redesign, staging and artwork placement typically takes between 2-4 hours per room. Creating layouts, identifying the right pieces of furniture, accessories and artwork takes a bit longer. Be sure to check out our Services page to learn more about our pricing and what to expect.
I'm hiring you for a redesign. Will I need to leave my home while you work? Will you "shop" the rest of my house for your redesign? This is entirely up to you. Many of our clients like to disappear until it's time to enjoy the big reveal. Others like to be a part of the process. Before we do any work, we ask you to identify places in your home where we may "shop" for furniture, accessories and artwork. We will not touch anything you say is off limits.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check and all major credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express. (Thank you for asking!)
When is payment due? Payment in full is due when the project or consultation is completed. For projects $1000 and up, 50% deposit is due when we begin.
My stuff is old & worn out. How can you possibly make it look any better? All of us have surrounded ourselves with stuff that we once liked enough to buy and bring into our home. When we meet, we focus on how you live in your space, how you want to feel in your home, and we learn which objects bring you the most joy. Connecting these elements can help make a well-loved sofa look comfortable and inviting and less worn out. That said, at the end of our time together, we'll provide suggestions for "wish list" items you might want to purchase. We can also shop for you, suggesting just the right pieces for your needs, taste and budget.
I have too much clutter! What should I do? Relax, breathe and know you're not alone. During our consultation, we can provide you with tried and true decluttering tips. We can even schedule time to assist you in your efforts to pare down. Before redesign or staging is to begin, we ask that you thoroughly clean the space to be redesigned or staged.
